This paper focuses on the medicinal properties of green tea, especially its being “the best food source of a group called catechins and other flavonoids”. And it is mentioned that drinking green tea freshly brewed is the best way to fully use catechins and other flavonoids in it and other ways of drinking green tea may not be able to make full use of the compounds in green tea. Moreover, three cups per day is supposed to be the usual amount of drinking green tea and people can draw something from it. Thus, we can say that the medicinal properties of green tea together with the best way to fully use green tea are the value of this paper.

And in the end, the author suggests people to form the habit of drinking green tea so as to experience a series of benefits of drinking green tea.

The article “Green Tea: Health Benefits, Facts and Research”, written by Megan Ware RDN LD who is a registered dietitian graduating from The Ohio State University with bachelor’s degree in dietetics, has talked about several possible health benefits of green tea. Before talking about it, the author has, in the first beginning shown where green tea comes from that “green tea is made from un-oxidized leaves and is one of the less processed types of tea and therefore contains one of the most antioxidants and beneficial polyphenols”. Later on, the author listed several possible health benefits of green tea, hoping that people can really take well advantage of green tea. The aforementioned health benefits of green tea are mainly related with the following aspects: cancer, heart disease, lower cholesterol, stroke, type 2 diabetes, weight loss, inflammatory skin diseases, working memory, Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, nutritional breakdown of green tea, etc. It is easy to find that the health benefits of green tea can really matter much toward human beings’ health state in one way or another. The author then elaborates on the forms of green tea as well as precautions and risks associated with green tea, which people should pay attention to if they would like to bypass the disadvantages of green tea.

In the article “5 Reasons Your Body Wants You To Drink More Green Tea”, the author Nina Elisa has, at first, pointed out that green tea is so powerful that it can “heal people from brain to belly out of anti-inflammatory antioxidants and good ol' caffeine”. In order to better illustrate her view, the author has proposed five advantages of green tea, which are “it can improve people’s memory”, “it’s bad news for cancer”, “it burns fat”, “it protects people’s brain” and “it staves off stroke”. From these advantages of green tea, we can have a fair knowledge that green tea is really one kind of drink that people should learn to drink for the sake of their health. Only in this way can people become healthier and healthier due to their formed healthy habits. The shining point of this paper is that it has connected green tea to brain and memory and it can supplement the benefits of green tea to a certain degree.
